Hi Everyone....

I hope you all had a nice week... My week started out nice, but by the end of the week, today, I have come down sick. So since I stayed home today from school, I decided it was a good time to catch up on my blog and let you all know about last weekend... :)

Mom and I left for Tehachapi a little while after I got home from school last Friday for the High School football game. Yep, on the road again, but that means I get to see Grandpa and Grandma :) YEA! I was very tired, so I slept through the first half of the game. Grandma came and rescued me at half time. I was so glad she came and got me since the game went into overtime.

I slept half the day at Grandpa and Grandma's house on Saturday. I was very tired. Mom went to her first game and got back to Grandpa and Grandma's while I was still asleep. Later in the day, Grandma, mom and I went to the golf course for a late lunch. It was nice as we sat outside. Grandpa was at a USC game. Yep, football.

At lunch, Grandma told mom and I about the time a few weeks ago how a Mountain Lion was walking across the hitting range at the golf course one evening. Out of the 30 years that my great grandpa and great grandma lived there, mommy only saw a Mountain Lion once when she was horseback riding on a trail in the mountains. It was standing by a water trough.

Later on, mom had another game to go to and I got to stay with Grandma. YEA. We made grandpa cookies.

I am taking a break from baking cookies.

Here are Grandpa's cookies in the oven.....

any many miny moe........

In my pajama's....

Grandpa got home very late, but I heard him get into the cookies. :)

Oh and the best part of the day was on mom's way back to grandma's from the late game, she stopped at Baskin Robins and got us all ice cream. I love ice cream. Grandma was suppose to take me, but we never made it into town to go, so....

Yep, that one is mine and I am ready for it... :)

I love ice cream, especially chocolate ice cream... :)

Hey Cubby... It's soooo good, you want some?

Sunday morning arrived and we all got up early to go to the clubhouse for breakfast. It was good. Well, I slept while everyone else ate. :) I was still tired and being at 5,000 feet makes me tired too. Not living there anymore, my body just isn't used to it anymore.

After we got back from breakfast, everyone was so stuff, but I still took Grandpa a cookie for desert. The hand is mine, but due to the closeness of the camera, it emphasized my hand and made it look larger than it really is. Mom's hand is there too making sure I don't try to toss it to my grandpa. :)

Before mom and I left to go home, we went for a walk and came across these bears on a neighbors fence. Grandma asked mom to take a photo of them with my camera so she can make some similar ones for her yard. I want one for my little yard that I have at home too. :) Grandma is going to be busy...

I love Grandpa and Grandma's front porch - the chimes!

I had a couple of good days at school and swimming this week. My braces were finally in, so on Wednesday mom took me to get them. I was able to choose a design for them as shown in the photo below. Aren't they pretty? This is the backside of one of my braces.

Well that's it for now. I need to go get my antibiotic from the pharmacy.

Have a GREAT weekend!! :) No football this weekend, so we get to stay home. YEA!

Love,
Kayla
